Broad Reach offers a dedicated Special Care Unit at Liberty Commons for residents with Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementia-related disorders.

The caregiving team in this unit has undergone special training in order to provide the best possible care when addressing the unique needs of these residents. Our staff participates in ongoing educational programs to deepen their understanding of the complex issues related to these diseases. Our recreation programs have been designed to give residents a sense of purpose and accomplishment. Patios, courtyards and walking paths keep residents active and engaged.
