The online program builds on your existing nursing knowledge with advanced course work in patient care, leadership and health care policy.
What does Broad Reach Healthcare offer?
- Zero Tuition Cost: Once hired as a full-time RN at Liberty Commons, our Skilled Nursing Facility in Chatham, Massachusetts, you enroll in UMass Lowell’s accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BS) degree covering all school fees.
- Commitment:
You commit to working at Broad Reach Healthcare full-time for 3 years once you earn your RN-BS degree.

By getting your BSN, you are expanding your job opportunities in hospitals, clinics, leadership, and public health. With hospitals and healthcare systems increasingly requiring nurses to hold a BSN, earning your degree ensures you stay competitive in the job market. Plus, the program will prepare you for a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program.
When does the RN Program run?
Multiple Start Dates: Get started when you're ready. UMass Lowell offers numerous start dates throughout the year. Finish your degree in as little as 12 months with flexible 8-week courses designed for working adults.
What if you are not an RN yet?
If you are not yet a Registered Nurse, you are not eligible for the BSN Program through Broad Reach Healthcare. However, we have a separate program for candidates who wish to become
Certified Nursing Assistants,
