Who is this opportunity for? 


Licensed Practical Nurses who want to continue to climb the nursing career ladder by attending the Cape Cod Community College Registered Nurse Program.


The Cape Cod Community College Associate of Science degree in Nursing is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing and has full approval from the Board of Registration in Nursing of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Cape Cod Community College Nursing Program graduates become licensed as Registered Nurses upon successful completion of the NCLEX-RN.


What does Broad Reach Healthcare offer?


  • Zero Tuition Cost: Once employed by Broad Reach Healthcare as a full-time LPN at Liberty Commons, our Skilled Nursing Facility in Chatham, Massachusetts, you enroll in the Associate of Science degree in Nursing at Cape Cod Community College. Broad Reach Healthcare covers all school fees.
  • Competitive Remuneration: We continue to pay you for full-time hours, but you only work part-time while you are at school. This gives you the time to study and the resources to do so!
  • Commitment: You commit to working at Broad Reach Healthcare full-time for 3 years once you are a Registered Nurse.

Why become an RN?


As a Registered Nurse, the scope of your work will grow to include greater responsibilities, including developing care plans, administering complex treatments, performing advanced assessments, and supervising LPNs and other staff.

When does the RN Program run?


Choose Your Term: Start your journey with 14-week full-term classes every September and January.

What are the next steps for an RN?


Cape Cod Community College Nursing program graduates are eligible to continue their education through an RN-BS Online degree program. Broad Reach Healthcare offers funding opportunities for our RNs who want to get their BSN.



What if you are not an LPN yet?


If you are not yet a Licensed Practical Nurse, you are not eligible for the RN Program through Broad Reach Healthcare. However, we have a separate program for candidates who wish to become  Certified Nursing Assistants, and then Licensed Practical Nurses!
