Celebrating Our New LPNs:
We had the privilege of attending the Upper Cape Tech LPN Graduation Ceremony in Bourne, where three of our own CNAs walked across the stage and officially became Licensed Practical Nurses! What made the day even more special was the incredible turnout of Liberty Commons staff from across multiple departments who showed up to cheer them on. This is the kind of family and team we are so proud to be at Broad Reach Healthcare.
Please join us in congratulating Jomaira, Novalee, and Jonelle!
Celebrating Our Executive Director of The Victorian:
Please also join us in congratulating our incredible Executive Director of The Victorian, Kayla, who recently earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration, all while working full time with Broad Reach! During our Fourth of July BBQ, Kayla surprised everyone with an entrance in her cap and gown as the band played on, and our owner, Bill, presented her with a diploma signed by staff and residents in honor of her achievement. Congrats, Kayla, we are so proud of you!
Mini Horse Visitors:
Residents at The Victorian spent a sunny afternoon getting up close with a herd of mini horses, and the smiles said it all. Between the gentle nuzzles and plenty of photo opportunities, it was an afternoon that reminded us how the simplest surprises can bring the biggest joy.
Classic Cars at The Victorian:
The Victorian Assisted Living traded its usual quiet afternoon for the roar of classic engines when the Cape Cod British Car Club rolled in for a car show. Residents stepped outside to admire a lineup of beautifully restored automobiles, trading stories and memories with the owners along the way. It was a fun and unexpected way to spend an afternoon, right outside their own front door.
A Day at the Ballpark:
Talk about a day to remember! Our residents took the field at a Chatham A's game, heard their names called out to a cheering crowd, and even had the honor of throwing out the first pitch. Kayla Bettencourt, Executive Director of The Victorian, and Jean Copeland, Owner of Seaside Homecare, joined right in on the excitement. A heartfelt thank you to Seaside Homecare for sponsoring the event and welcoming us to be part of it.
